About EK
Business Academy Copenhagen (EK) is established through the merger of KEA and Cphbusiness, effective from 1 July 2025.
As one academy, we bring together our strengths to offer more opportunities for students, a stronger sense of community, and closer ties to the professional world. Our ambition is to be a powerhouse for practice-oriented higher education in the Greater Copenhagen area.
The unified academy provides a solid financial foundation for quality, innovation, and student wellbeing across education, applied research, administration and operations. It strengthens our ability to meet today’s challenges – including demands for sustainability, technological advancement and artificial intelligence.
By joining forces, we raise the visibility of academy profession and bachelor’s degrees in the region – to the benefit of students and the business community.
Business Academy Copenhagen is Denmark’s largest academy of applied sciences, with 20,000 students across 13 campuses in Greater Copenhagen. We offer 44 full-time programmes in Danish and 27 part-time programmes in areas such as construction and energy, finance and economics, engineering and environment, design and experience, business and marketing, IT, and continuing education.
At Business Academy Copenhagen, students don’t just gain knowledge – they apply it in real-life projects and through close collaboration with companies.
